After graduating from the Seton Hall University School of Law, Mr. Smith began his legal career in public accounting, where he developed a strong foundation in tax and estate planning. After completing a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree in Taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center, Mr. Smith entered into private practice with a prominent New Jersey law firm, where he concentrated in the areas of estate planning and business transactions.
Prior to law school, Mr. Smith worked in Private Banking while completing his M.B.A., with honors, from the University of South Florida. Mr. Smith was then invited to join Beta Gamma Sigma.
Mr. Smith has been admitted to the Bar in New Jersey, New York, and the District of Columbia. He has been admitted to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States Tax Court.
Mr. Smith is a member of the New Jersey State and Morris County Bar Associations. He is also active in several area non-profit organizations including Trout Unlimited, the Federalist Society, and is also a Lifetime Member of the NRA.
