Mr. Smith brings to his clients a unique blend of over 25 years of experience in the areas of complex tax, trusts & estates, and financial planning.
While completing an M.B.A. in Finance, with high honors, Mr. Smith developed a strong foundation in retirement and financial planning as a senior member of the Wealth Management department of a major private bank in Naples, Florida. Mr. Smith went on to complete a law degree and then a Masters of Law in Taxation from Georgetown Law.
Mr. Smith has been in private practice for over sixteen years, concentrating in the areas of tax and estate planning. He is a frequent lecturer on the topics of estate and retirement planning. He is also a member of the Elder Law section of the NJSBA and is a co-author of the runaway best-selling book, “Retirement Rescue”. Mr. Smith is an active member of several non-profit organizations including Trout Unlimited, the Boy Scouts of America, the Tarpon Bonefish Trust, and the Federalist Society.
